If you're looking for excellent coaching for your child, delivered by experts in their sport in a small group environment then our holiday coaching workshops are for you.

PROGRAMME FOCUS

Badminton

8 - 15 Year Olds

If your child would like to focus on developing their badminton skills, technique and match play then this is the session for them. Three hours of elite-level coaching led by a Team GB Olympian, in small groups with a maximum coach to player ratio of 1:8 for all abilities. 

PROGRAMME FOCUS

DEVELOPMENT

Movement, tactical skills and continued work on technique.

MOVEMENT

Improving movement and spatial awareness. 

TEAMWORK

Communication skills are improved as work together in games and in practices.

COMPETITION

The children will have opportunities for match play and competition.

PARTICIPATION

Continuing to enjoy physical challenges, learn and refine existing skills.

RESPECT

Game situations help to teach an understanding of winning and losing, and supporting each other. 

Multi-Sports

4 - 9 Year Olds

These sessions work on increasing competence levels and maintaining that all importance confidence. Your child will develop movement skills alongside continuing to grow their positive attitude towards participation in sport and physical activity. 

There are introductions to more sport specific skills that will support their enjoyment of a range of activities and provide your child with the opportunity to participate in fun and friendly competitive games in a range of sports. Your child will work in teams and with partners to develop those all-important life skills such as communication, respect and team work.

With the aim of the programme being that the children leave with confidence and passion for sport and physical activity.

DEVELOPMENT

Decision making skills, spatial awareness and continued work on direction and control.

MOVEMENT

Learning to move and create space through timing.

TEAMWORK

Communication skills improved as work together in games and in practices.

COMPETITION

The children will use the skills they’ve learnt in small-sided game situations.

PARTICIPATION

Continuing to enjoy physical challenges, learn new sport specific sport skills and refine existing ones.

RESPECT

Game situations help to teach an understanding of winning and losing, and supporting each other.
